Upcoming VETASSESS Fee Changes from 22 October 2025

If you're planning to apply for a skills assessment through VETASSESS, there's an important update you need to know.

Starting 22 October 2025, application fees for professional and general occupation assessments will go up. This increase is in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI)—which means it's adjusting with inflation, as many government fees do each year.

This change also includes applications made under:

• Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMA)

• Industry Labour Agreements (ILA)
  

Good to know: If your application is for a trade occupation, this fee increase does NOT apply to you.
